Sandra Pratt
After graduating from Glasgow School of Art, Sandra taught in Glasgow before moving to work in Ayrshire. She tutored for South Ayrshire Council in the libraries and at Rozelle’s Maclaurin Galleries. She now works for Glasgow University with the Centre for Open Studies and holds private classes at her studio in Maidens. She has also illustrated for the late James Drummond’s ‘Wallace’ books. She mostly works in watercolours, inks and acrylics and likes to experiment with the various media as well as doing more figurative work, sometimes getting unexpected and exciting results.
