Keith Osborne
Keith has had a lifelong interest in art which has developed since early retiral as a Radiologist a few years ago. His primary interests are landscapes and still life, working mainly in acrylic and occasionally watercolour. His inspiration is from multiple sources but for the landscapes generally he has been to the locations depicted and excited by the potential for a painting. He uses whatever images inspire him as source material and these can be from his own photographs, postcards, magazines etc. For still lives, he collects and sets up the objects which, again, will be lit in a way which will highlight the structures to create a more dramatic, interesting painting. He counts himself fortunate that art is purely a hobby with no requirement to generate any income. Many of his paintings are not for sale, but he is happy to provide a print if desired. Woodwork is another hobby and he makes all his own mounts and frames.
