Bridget Hunter

Bridget sketches and paints subjects mainly in and around her home in Scotland,  though sometimes travelling to paint in a different light.  Her process is to record seen images in a sketchbook and then to use these to work up a painting at home, although she also enjoy laying in a work outside in the landscape. She has exhibited at group exhibitions in The Lillie Gallery, Paisley Art Institute, The RGI Kelly Gallery, The Maclaurin Gallery, Arran Art Gallery, The Whitehouse Gallery and Six Ayrshire Artists.  She is an elected member of The Glasgow Society of Women Artists and Paisley Art Institute. She has won the following awards: The Jan Bruce Award for Landscape Painting (GSWA), The Charles Jamieson Award (PAI) and The Gallery Two Award (North Ayrshire Art Exhibition).
