Susan MacInnes
Originally from the West Highlands and accustomed to the fabulous light and mountainous backdrops, coming to live in Ayrshire with its stunning long views has been inspiring. Over the years, regular watercolour and life drawing classes, various Summer schools, weekend workshops, demonstrations and painting with talented artists has fired her enthusiasm to paint. Susan paints mainly seascapes, still life, flowers and life drawing primarily in watercolour, occasionally flirting with oils and acrylics. When possible, she loves sketching and painting outdoors, hopefully catching an immediate impression and visual memory. She has recently been selected to exhibit at the following exhibitions: RSW at the RSA Edinburgh, PAI at Paisley Museum, RSW Glasgow. She has also exhibited at The Maclaurin Gallery, Lillie Gallery, Rozelle House, Beacon Arts Centre and various charity exhibitions in Ayrshire.
