Patricia Millar

Born and bred in Ayrshire, Patricia retired from work in Dumfries with Galloway Health Service in 2012.  While living temporarily in Stranraer, she began to attend an art class.  This reawakened a long held interest in drawing and painting.  In that class, she worked mainly in oils and in a fairly realistic style.  In 2012, she moved back to Ayrshire and attended a different painting class where she was introduced to acrylic painting and a looser style of working. Since then, she has attended many different workshops and courses, gaining experience in pencil drawing, charcoal, pastel and watercolour.  She tends to paint whatever takes her fancy, always striving to become a better painter.
