Dianne Gardner

Dianne has been an artist member of the Club since 2009.  She has always painted, but began to work more seriously after her retirement from a career in Educational Management. She works mainly in acrylics and mixed media, favouring landscape and still life. Within her work she seeks to evoke the essence of her subject, rather than making a photographic image.  Her work can be seen locally in the Framework Gallery, Troon.  She is an elected member of The Glasgow Society of Women Artists. In 2010, she won The Miller Art Prize at the North Ayrshire Open Art Exhibition.  She has displayed her work at group exhibitions at The Maclaurin Gallery, Ayr, Paisley Art Institute (2011 and 2012), The Lillie Gallery, The RGI Kelly Gallery, Glasgow Art Club, North Ayrshire Open and Lochgreen House, Troon.
